About Me

My name is Abigail. I am a Software Engineer based in Kentucky, currently with the 100Devs organization. I am experienced in building, updating, and maintaining websites on Wix and WordPress, but I really enjoy building websites from scratch. I am skilled in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and have built several websites, apps, and landing pages using these. Besides designing and building websites, I also enjoy puzzles, reading, cooking, crocheting, and calligraphy. I like to be organized and efficient, but I also try to keep a flexible schedule. I have a great deal of practice juggling multiple responsibilities.

HTML

HTML is a markup language. It is the tool I use to put all the content on your website: text, images, videos, and more.

CSS

CSS is also a markup language. I use this to help me style your website: adding color, changing shapes, and creating the layout, among other things.

JavaScript

JavaScript is a programming language that allows me to build functionality into your website: animation, changes to the content or style triggered by button clicks, and more are made possible with JavaScript.
